How Our Card Grading Works
At Iconic Grading Co., we’ve simplified our AI grading process into six clear steps. From creating your account to receiving your sealed slabs, we make sure every stage is secure, transparent, and collector-friendly.
STEP 1
Create an Account
Start by setting up your free account with Iconic Grading Co. This gives you access to your card submission dashboard where you can track orders, review past submissions, and stay updated on grading progress in real time.
STEP 2
Build Your Card Submission Order
Enter the card quantity you’d like to grade, add details (card product/brand type, player name, card number, year, variation), and then add your submission order to your cart. Our submission form ensures everything is accurately documented.
STEP 3
Complete Your Order and Make Your Payment
Once your submission order is finalized, checkout securely through our website. We accept multiple payment methods (credit/debit card, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay), and your order will be locked into our system immediately. You’ll also receive a confirmation email with your submission details and shipping instructions.
STEP 4
Package and Ship Your Cards to Iconic Grading Co.
You will be responsible for shipping your cards to Iconic Grading Co. We’ll send a follow-up email with further instructions on where to ship your cards.
Protect your cards by placing each card into a card sleeve, and place all into a Card Saver 1 pouch. Bundle securely to avoid movement in transit. Also, print and place a copy of your order confirmation inside the package.
IMPORTANT: Ship with a trackable and insured carrier to ensure peace of mind. Purchase insurance for your package for the full value of your cards. Iconic Grading Co. is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
STEP 5
Iconic Grading and Slab Sealing
Your cards are captured with high-resolution, multi-angle imaging. Our computer-vision models analyze centering, corners, edges, and surface, detecting micro-defects (scratches, print lines, dimples) that are easy to miss. The system then assigns a consistent, data-driven grade (1-10). Finally, each card is sealed in our tamper-evident, crystal-clear Iconic slab with a label.

STEP 6
Iconic Ships Your Order to You
Once your cards are graded and slabbed, they’re carefully packed and shipped back to you. You’ll receive a tracking number so you can monitor delivery every step of the way. Soon, you’ll be holding your newly graded Iconic slabs, ready to display, collect, or sell!
